Barbara Stauch German Language Coaching

1. Payment

Full payment is required before the first live class. No seat is reserved until payment is received. Accepted payment methods: credit/debit card, bank transfer. By completing payment, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Cancellation and No-Show

If you provide at least 24 hours' notice before a scheduled session, that session will not be deducted from your remaining count. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or do not attend without notice, the session will be deducted from your total. Exceptions may be made for medical emergencies or serious personal circumstances. Documentation may be required.

3. Rescheduling

A session may be rescheduled by either party with at least 24 hours' notice. Students may reschedule a maximum of two sessions per package. A third reschedule request will be treated as a cancellation, and one session will be deducted from your total. Note for group programs: Group sessions run on a fixed schedule and cannot be rescheduled for individual participants. If you miss a group session, a recording will be provided where applicable. 4. Late Arrival

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times regardless of late arrival. If a student arrives late, the session ends at the originally scheduled time. If a student is more than 10 minutes late without prior notice, the session will be marked as a no-show and deducted accordingly. If the instructor is late, students should wait 5 minutes. A tutor's delay will not count against the student's session time and will be made up in full.

5. Technical Issues

Time lost due to technical difficulties on either side will not count against the student's session time. In the event of a technical issue, the instructor will either extend the current session, add time to a future session, or cancel the session without deduction – at her discretion. Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection, working audio, and an up-to-date version of Zoom before each session. Sessions lost solely due to a student's unresolved technical setup will not be compensated.

6. Refunds Individual coaching packages

Full refund available until 24 hours before the first scheduled session. A 50% refund applies after the first session for the remaining unused sessions in your package. Group programs: Full refund available until 24 hours before the first live class. No refunds after the first class begins. Recordings of all sessions will be provided to participants who cannot attend live. No refund is available for missed sessions once the refund window has closed.

7. Recordings

Group sessions are recorded. By enrolling, you consent to being recorded during live sessions. July 2026 Recordings are shared with enrolled participants only and are not distributed publicly. If you do not wish to appear on camera, you may join with your camera off – your audio participation is still covered by this consent.

8. Program Content and Materials

All course materials, handouts, cheatsheets, and recordings provided through Barbara Stauch German Language Coaching are for personal use only. They may not be shared, resold, or reproduced without written permission.

9. Participant Conduct

Students are expected to engage respectfully with the instructor and, in group settings, with other participants. Barbara Stauch reserves the right to remove a participant from a program without refund in cases of disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate conduct.

10. Results

Language learning outcomes depend on individual effort, consistency, and participation. Barbara Stauch German Language Coaching does not guarantee specific results or proficiency levels by a particular date.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected at enrollment (name, email, payment details) is used solely to administer your program. It is not sold or shared with third parties. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and PayPal. Please refer to their privacy policy for details on how payment data is handled.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Enrolled students will be notified of material changes by email. Continued participation in a program after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. August 2026

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Meigs County, Tennessee. By completing your enrollment and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
